1.Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to 2048 (the "App," "we," "us," or "our"), a mobile puzzle game developed by Muhammad Mehmood Husnain. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
2.Description of the Service
2048 is a tile-merging puzzle game for mobile devices. The App may include optional in-app purchases, advertisements, and integration with Google Play Games Services, including a weekly leaderboard. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time.
3.Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App, or the applicable minimum age of digital consent in your country if that age is higher. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the App with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
4.License to Use the App
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on a device that you own or control. This license does not permit you to copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the App.
5.In-App Purchases
The App offers optional in-app purchases, including Lives packages and a Remove Ads bundle, processed entirely through Google Play's billing system. By making a purchase, you agree to Google Play's own payment terms in addition to these Terms.
- All purchases are final. Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policies, not directly by us, except where required by applicable law.
- Virtual items (such as Lives) have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real currency, transferred outside the App, sold, or redeemed for cash.
- We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or change the price of any in-app purchase at any time, without affecting purchases already completed.
- If a purchase is refunded through Google Play, we reserve the right to deduct the associated virtual items from your account balance, which will never be reduced below zero.
6.Advertising
The App may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising networks, including Google AdMob. Depending on your consent choices and your location, ads may be personalized based on data collected by these networks. Where required by law (such as in the EEA, UK, and certain U.S. states), we request your consent before showing personalized ads. 7.Google Play Games Services
The App integrates with Google Play Games Services, which requires signing in with your Google account to access certain features, including the weekly leaderboard. If you sign in, your Google Play Games display name and game scores may be visible to other players on the public leaderboard. Signing in is optional — the App remains fully playable if you decline or are not signed in.
Your use of Google Play Games Services is also governed by Google's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We do not control, and are not responsible for, Google's services or how Google handles your account information.
8.User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use cheats, automation tools, exploits, or hacks to manipulate scores, purchases, or leaderboard rankings
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App or its systems
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Interfere with other players' access to or enjoyment of the App, including the leaderboard
We reserve the right to remove any score or ranking we reasonably believe was obtained through cheating or manipulation, and to restrict access to the App for users who violate this section.
9.Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, graphics, source code, and content, is owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets beyond what is necessary to use the App as intended.
10.Privacy
Our collection and use of your information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
11.Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components.
12.Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.
13.Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or to us. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
14.Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
15.Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
